I'm sorry to say that another classic voice of Christmas has been silenced. Doris Day passed away May 13, 2019 from pneumonia. Doris was one talented woman. She was a singer dating back to the big band era, an actress, and an animal rights activist as well. Some of my older friends said that she was the ultimate "girl next door". In a Hollywood full of crass, she was a rare touch of class. You can read more about Doris over at Wikipedia.
Doris released a Christmas album entitled "The Doris Day Christmas Album" in both mono and stereo versions in 1964 on the CBS label.

In 1994, Columbia/Legacy released Day's "Personal Christmas Collection" which included all the Christmas songs Doris performed while on Columbia. The album was released in CD format and contained a mix of both mono and stereo tracks.

In 2008, Collectors' Choice Music and Sony BMG released Day's "Complete Christmas Collection in CD format. This compilation includes all the tracks found on Day's "Christmas Album" and on "Personal Christmas Collection" along with additional tracks from other albums.
This same collection was released under the same title by Real Gone Music in 2012. Different covers, but the exact same music.
